Interested firms or individuals may submit their interest and capability to provide the same features and requirements outlined in the attached memo. A submittal of objection to the single source procurement is to include in writing the company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, email, and a summarized statement regarding capability to provide the specified procurement. Interested firms will be considered only if they respond with clear and convincing documentation that they are capable of meeting or exceeding the requirements stated herein. Do not submit cost information as the submittal is NOT considered a proposal, bid, or quote but rather a statement of protest as to the designation of the single source procurement. All responses received within fifteen (15) business days after the date of publication and by the deadline identified will be reviewed by the City of Apopka. A determination will be made as to whether or not to compete based on the single source designation and the responses to this notice.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier’s check, or bid bond, in the amount of XXXXXof the total bid price, payable toCity of Apopka, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement. The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.

Please have the Bidder Name, Contract Title ("Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement: HJ3 Technologies Composites"), and Contract Number ("2026-A-314") listed clearly on the outside of the envelope.
The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to City of Apopka so that it is received within 14 working daysafter the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
