Description of Intended Products or Services Provided:

A New York Blower (NYB) for odor control works by utilizing industrial-grade fans—typically centrifugal designs to create negative pressure, capturing foul, corrosive air from the wastewater treatment plants. The blower then forces this contaminated air through treatment systems, (carbon adsorbers, chemical scrubbers, and biofilters) to neutralize and release clean air. 
NYB requires communication through exclusive authorized sale representative, Pero Engineering, however, the Purchase Orders shall be issued directly to NYB.

Background

The equipment and products are necessary for operations to neutralize hydrogen sulfides (rotten egg smell) to ensure treatment performance meets the requirements for FDEP operating permit and the Good Neighbor requirements. This equipment has been used at the County's water treatment plants for twenty years and has been proven to be long lasting and reliable. Each blower is engineered and custom built. Parts are custom designed.
