NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE SYMBIONT SERVICE CORP

Description of Intended Products or Services Provided:

Symbiont heater and cooler units, parts, services, and repairs for County owned aquatic facilities. Purchases for repairs, parts, and services only. 

Symbiont is the sole distributor of the Symbiont™ GeoThermal Pool/Spa heater manufactured by AquaCal. AquaCal manufactures these heaters specifically to Symbiont specifications. The heaters are registered trademark of Symbiont and AquaCal sells them exclusively to Symbiont. The Symbiont™ GeoThermal Pool/Spa heater is installed by Symbiont and includes a five year labor and seven year parts warranty. Additionally, Symbiont Service Corp. is the factory-authorized provider of parts and service to support this specialized warranty. Any repairs performed by an unauthorized repair facility will void the warranty for the Symbiont™ GeoThermal Pool/Spa heater. 

To provide residents and visitors with pool amenities at County owned aquatic facilities. It is essential to keep parts running and in working condition to be able to maintain County pools open. The Symbiont™ Geothermal Pool and Spa Heater Units are critical to maintaining required water temperatures at County aquatic facilities. Collier County Parks and Recreation currently operates 54 Symbiont™ Geothermal Pool and Spa Heater units across the Golden Gate Aquatic Facility, Immokalee Sports Complex, Donna Fiala Eagle Lakes Community Park, Sun‑N‑Fun Lagoon, and Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park.
