    Description

    Sealedproposals, addressed to the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, Inc. (Owner)for the NUECES DELTAPRESERVE INFRASTRUCTURE ENHANCEMENTS, cbbep no. 2535. The Base Bid scope of work consists of clearingapproximately 16’ wide by 1,000 feet long of grassed area and installing 6’wide concrete trail with two new precast box culvert shallow water structure crossings, metal pedestrianrail with concrete ribbon curb for ramp areas, soil stabilization and seedingfor erosion protection. This project is locatedat Nueces Delta preserve park, located at 3410 US-77, City of Odem, SanPatricio County, Texas as part of the accessibility program to enhance the parkfor the Coastal Bend Bays & Estuaries Program, Inc.All work shall be completed in accordance withthe construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.    ADDITIVE BID A– LANDSCAPE consists of Landscaping and othermiscellaneous items tocomplete the work. ADDITIVE BID B – SITE FURNISHINGS consists of a site furnished trailheadmonument, trailhead signs, interpretive signage, gravel pad with boulders forsitting, firepit and other miscellaneous items to complete the work. BIDS will be received at the CBBEP Office, 1305 N.Shoreline Boulevard #205, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411until 2:00 pmon Thursday, April 16, 2026, and then publicly opened and read. Any bidreceived after closing time will be returned unopened. A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for 10:00am on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. The Pre-Bid Meeting willbe conducted by the Engineer and CBBEP representative. Wewill meet at the Nueces Delta Preserve Park entrance gate, located at 3410US-77 Odem, Texas 78370.  A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the highestamount bid must accompany each proposal. Failure to provide the bid bond will constitute a non-responsiveproposal which will not be considered. Failure to provide required performanceand payment bonds for contracts over $25,000.00 will result in forfeiture ofthe 5% bid bond to the CBBEP as liquidated damages.  Plans, proposal forms, specifications andcontract documents may be procured from the Engineer, LJA Engineering, Inc.(LJA), 5350 S. Staples, Suite 425, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411, upon receipt ofa non-refundable payment of Fifty Dollars ($50.00). Documents can be obtained by mailupon receipt of an additional non-refundable postage/handling charge of TenDollars ($10.00).
