    This solicitation is a request for a submittal of an expression of interest (EOI) for the scope of work in Buildings 5, 6, and 15 at the Hutchings Psychiatric Center campus including the following: Removal of six (6) existing air handling units, three (3) existing condensing units, three (3) existing compressors, and other HVAC equipment within mechanical rooms and on the roof. Installation of six (6) new air handling units, six (6) new condensing units, and other HVAC equipment. Procurement, installation, and operation of temporary packaged air handling units at grade to be utilized during construction. Removal of temporary units upon completion of installation of new HVAC units. Mechanical prime with site civil, structural, architectural, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, and controls work to complete the scope of work for the project. Construction costs are estimated at $3,000,000 – 4,500,000. Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Requirements: 18% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Requirements: 12% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business Sub-Contracting Requirements: 6% All EOI submitters, domestic and foreign, must be in compliance with New York State business registration requirements. Provide project examples with client references, e-mail and phone number. » Ability to bond total project value – provide surety letter indicating single and aggregate bonding capability. » Submittal of NYS Vendor Questionnaire For-Profit Construction (CCA-2) in word or PDF format. Proof of online submission is not sufficient. » A statement of agreement to comply with MWE/WBE/SDVOB requirements. » The Table of Contents from the firm’s Safety Program. » Contractor’s Experience Modification Rating (EMR) from the last three years.
