    Description

The City seeks to establish a list of qualified consultants to provide a broad range of professional services in support of the City’s Public Works Department. Services will be provided on an as-needed basis through individually issued task orders or requests for quotes for specific projects.

Consultants may submit proposals for one or more disciplines, including, but not limited to: staff augmentation; project management; construction management and inspection; civil engineering; traffic engineering; surveying and mapping; landscape architecture; architectural design; geotechnical engineering; pavement and materials testing; environmental compliance; water quality and NPDES compliance services; grant administration; and as needed engineering services.

A single consultant is not required to provide all listed services. Firms are encouraged to submit proposals for the disciplines in which they are qualified.

Upon completion of the evaluation process, the City intends to establish a short list of qualified firms. Selected consultants will enter into a Professional Services Agreement with a term of two (2) years. Placement on the short list does not guarantee any minimum amount of work. The City reserves the right to assign work at its discretion based on project needs.

The City also reserves the right to add or remove firms from the qualified list at any time during the term of the agreement.

The City will evaluate proposals based on qualifications, experience, and demonstrated ability to perform the required services. The City may award contracts to one or more consultants whose proposals are determined to be in the best interest of the City. The selected Consultant’s proposal may be incorporated into the final Professional Services Agreement.
