    Valley Water requires experienced, and qualified firms to provide general and specialized structural engineering design services relating to flood protection improvements, water utility improvements, and other structural engineering support services as needed.1) Perform investigations, analysis, and assessments of existing flood control structures, water treatment structures, water transmission structures and general building structures including but not limited to bridges, floodwalls, retaining walls, water retaining structures, concrete vaults, water treatment plants, pump stations, office buildings and warehouses, to determine rehabilitation, seismic retrofit or replacement scenario requirements,2) Develop, evaluate and provide recommendations for conceptual alternatives and strategies for flood control structures, water treatment structures, water transmission structures and general building structures, seismic retrofit or replacement scenarios and projects and projects,3) Provide, conceptual, preliminary and final planning and design documents for flood control structures, water treatment structures, water transmission structures and general building structures projects including but not limited to planning study reports, plans, specifications, calculations, and cost estimates,4) Provide construction phase engineering design services, inspection and quality assurance support for the execution of the flood control structures, water treatment structures, water transmission structures and general building structures projects to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
