    Description

    By way of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ), the County of Tuolumne through its Department of Public Works (“County”) intends to pre-qualify and select up to four (4) qualified traffic engineering firms (each, a “consultant”) to provide on-call traffic services. These firms will support the planning, design, and construction of various federal aid, state, and locally funded projects. Projects may include, but are not limited to, road improvements, safety improvement projects currently programmed with the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), bridge projects currently programmed with the Highway Bridge Program (HBP), Active Transportation Program (ATP) projects, and Emergency Relief Program (ER) projects. Firms responding to this RFQ should be fully familiar with and experienced in meeting the requirements of both State and Federal procedures pertaining to federally funded projects.
