    Description

    The Town of Yarmouth is inviting sealed bids for On-Call Water Main and Service Installation, Replacement, and Repair services. Sealed bids will be accepted at the office of the Town Administrator, Yarmouth Town Hall, 1146 Route 28, South Yarmouth, MA 02664, until 2:00 p.m. on June 17, 2026. Bids shall be in a sealed envelope marked: “ON-CALL WATER MAIN AND SERVICE INSTALLATION, REPLACEMENT, AND REPAIR.” The initial contract term will begin upon execution and continue through June 30, 2027, with up to two additional one-year renewal options. The estimated value is approximately $200,000 per year, with a total potential contract value of $600,000 over three years. The Town reserves the right to award contracts to multiple responsive and responsible bidders for on-call water service work. Bid specifications may be examined and obtained on the Town of Yarmouth Website, Doing Business page at https://www.yarmouth.ma.us/bids.aspx at 10:00 a.m. beginning May 29, 2026. All inquiries regarding the project should be submitted to Svetlana Salemme, Procurement Project Manager, at SSalemme@yarmouth.ma.us. Bids must be submitted on the required forms and accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the bid price. A payment bond will not be required at contract award; however, the Town reserves the right to require a payment bond equal to 50% of any individual work order exceeding $25,000, in accordance with M.G.L. c.149, §29. This procurement is subject to M.G.L. c.30, §39M, prevailing wage requirements, certified payroll requirements, and OSHA 10 certification requirements. The Town of Yarmouth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to award one or more contracts, and to waive informalities in the best interest of the Town.
