PRIOR TO: July 10th at 2:00 PM, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read. SCOPE OF WORK: Periodically, the Seneca County Weatherization department has need of outside on-demand residential electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Abatement, and/or Air Monitoring services for a variety of residential projects. These projects do not fall within the bidding limits as set by New York State General Municipal Law 103. This bid is intended to set up new contracts for each of these trades. Any contract(s) awarded as a result of this bid may be utilized for projects where the total project cost does not exceed $20,000. Larger projects will be bid or quoted separately, unless use of this bid is authorized by the Board of Supervisors. The contracts may be used by Seneca County Weatherization department for work that needs to be completed throughout the year. Typically, these projects are varied in nature and tend to be of a short timeframe. In an effort to comply with the Seneca County Purchasing Procedures, NYS General Municipal Law 104b and meet the needs of the County departments, the County will contract with one or more companies to complete the aforementioned projects on an as needed basis. Vendors shall bid labor rates for one or more of the trades listed. Vendors shall also bid a percentage above invoice price for any materials and rental costs that may be required.
