    Description

    DESCRIPTION OF WORK The work in general consists of roadway rehabilitation. The work will include roadway excavation, asphalt concrete overlay, full depth recycling, clearing and grubbing, removal and construction of concrete curbs, gutters, curb ramps, sidewalks, driveways, adjusting drainage facilities and utilities to grade, modifications to traffic signals, signing and striping, and other items of work as indicated on the project bid book and plans. ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE The Engineer’s Estimate for this contract is $10,232,330. DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE GOAL As a result of the U.S. Department of Transportation's interim final rule (IFR) effective October 3, 2025 modifying the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) program (49 CFR 26), there is no DBE goal. TRAINEES OR APPRENTICES The number of trainees or apprentices for this contract is 0. WORKING DAYS The project has 140 Working Days. PRE-BID MEETING No pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project. FUNDING The work to be performed under this Contract will be funded by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds. Contractor will be required to comply with all Federal Requirements set forth in the Special Provisions. In the event of a conflict between any Federal Requirement and any other provision in the Contract Documents, the more stringent provision shall control and prevail.
