    Questions & Answers

Q (Use of Subconsultants): Our firm intends to pursue the architecture services category. Can you confirm if the county is requesting a full team of subconsultants with the submission (structural, MEP, civil/LA, Geotech, etc.), or are we only providing qualifications and pricing for our firm as the prime?

A: The intent of this solicitation is to evaluate your firm's qualifications and pricing for the service category(ies) for which your firm is seeking award. The County is not requiring the submission of detailed quals for a full team of subconsultants as part of this qualification submission. The qualifications of any proposed subconsultants will be evaluated at the individual Task Order level based on the specific scope of work for that project. The awarded consultant will be responsible for establishing agreements with qualified subconsultants as necessary to perform the required services. Accordingly, submit qualifications and pricing applicable to your firm for the category(ies) for which you are seeking award; and identify any anticipated subconsultants in accordance with Attachment J-3, Subcontractor's List. Also refer to Section 2.9 for additional subcontractor information.
