    The Lee's Summit R7 School District is soliciting bid for the annual harvesting of an estimated 16 acres of property owned by the Lee's Summit R7 School District located on Mason School Road, East of Highway 7 in Blue Springs, MO. Approximately 14 acres of the property is tillable ground. The balance of the land should be kept mowed for weed control. The term "harvest" as stated in the bid is defined as a season within a calendar year. The planting of the type of crops will require prior authorization and approval from the District before work commences. The Districts preference is for there to be a rotation of soybeans and wheat. In addition, the Greenwood property is located on 2nd Avenue South in Greenwood, MO and is an approximately 27.5 acres of property owned by Lee's Summit R7 School District is in need of only hay removal and no harvesting. Bidders may bid on either property OR both properties. The District may elect to split the award among bidders. Lee's Summit R7 School District (or the "District") is allowing proposers to submit their proposals electronically via IonWave or email or hard copy delivery. Electronic submission is preferred and helps eliminate errors, eliminate unnecessary work, and is more friendly to the environment. The Lee's Summit R7 School District will not accept bids that are submitted via fax machine. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities or technicalities if deemed in the best interest of the District.
