    Description

The City of Fort Myers is transitioning from the Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management (SCM) to Oracle Redwood User Interface and is interested in soliciting information from qualified third-party firms that have relevant Oracle experience working with municipalities or other government entities.

    Background

The City of Fort Myers currently uses Oracle Fusion ERP Release 26B as its enterprise resource planning solution. The City has implemented Financials, Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Performance Management, and Human Capital Management.

Oracle has advised the City that beginning with Release 27A, anticipated in early 2027, all Supply Chain Management functionality must be transitioned to the Redwood User Interface. For the City of Fort Myers, the SCM Redwood transition is expected to include Procurement, Supplier Portal, Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Product Catalogs, Cost Management, Receipt Accounting, Inventory Management, and Central Warehouse functionality.

The City implemented Oracle Fusion ERP less than one year ago and is still building internal expertise with the platform. The City does not currently have the internal resources or experience required to complete the SCM Redwood transition independently and expects to require specialized third-party assistance.

The City is issuing this RFI to better understand available services, recommended approaches, project timing, level of effort, City resource requirements, risks, and budgetary considerations before determining whether to issue a future solicitation.
