Location of Services: Imperial Wildlife Area - Wister Unit, 8700 Davis Road, Niland, 92257, Imperial County, California Mandatory Jobwalk - March 17, 2026 @ 10:00AM License Required:  A or B With the following requirements: C-22 License or ASB ¿ Asbestos Certification Estimated Cost:  $ 800,000.00 Participation in Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program (DVBE):  The minimum DVBE participation percentage goal is 3%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render your bid non-responsive.  DVBE Incentive: For evaluation purposes only, an incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 3% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the Instructions to Bidders. Small Business Preference and Small Business Subcontractor participation:  A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a copy of your certification must be submitted with the bid proposal). As of March 1, 2015, Senate Bill 854 requires that No Contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations for projects greater than $25,000.00.  Failure to register with DIR or list sub-contractors not registered will render your bid non-responsive.
