    INVITATION TO BID

    State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) will receive sealed bids from Pre-Qualified Bidders ONLY for the following project on behalf of Palm Beach County (Federal): Project #2022-045047, Palm Tran North - Air Compressor Replacement

    State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) is the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) with a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Palm Beach County. There will be a NON-MANDATORY Pre-Bid Meeting onsite on: Tuesday, June 9th, 2026 at 10:00 AM (EST), Meet at 3201 Electronics Way, West Palm Beach, Fl 33407

    Bid documents will be available from State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) by email to Adrian Viera, Pre-Construction Manager, at aviera@statecontracting.com.

    The scope of work may include, but is not limited to: minor painting, removal and replacement of existing coiling roll-up doors to motorize, removal and replacement of existing air compressor equipment, removal and replacement of existing wall-mounted fans, and associated electrical improvements per all Federal, State, and Local County regulatory requirements.

    This is a federally funded project that must meet all appropriate federal guidelines, including Buy America Act, Davis-Bacon wages, and related acts, which are part of the Bid documents.

    Palm Beach County encourages Good Faith Efforts for participation of Small Business Enterprises (SBE) and DBE, participants must be certified by a cognizant agency.

    Please note that ALL Subcontractors MUST be pre-qualified with State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) prior to the Bid Date. For a pre-qualification package, please email Adrian Viera, Pre-Construction Manager, at aviera@statecontracting.com.

    All SEALED BIDS MUST be received by Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM (EST) at State Contracting & Engineering Corp. (SCEC) offices, located at 5391 N Nob Hill Road, Sunrise, FL 33351. Sealed bids/envelopes shall be labeled appropriately with the project number and title.
