In general, the major work items include:Work will consist of the removal and replacement of existing asphalt concrete parking lot and entrancepavements, including associated grading, drainage improvements, earthwork, striping, flatwork,construction fencing, site protection, and all other incidental work as required by the plans andspecifications at Teglia’s Paradise Park Activity Center located at 2745 Elementary Drive Reno, NV.Work will also include a bid alternative for the removal and replacement of existing concrete flatwork andassociated recreational benches, tables, and all other incidental work as required by the plans andspecifications.Minimum Wage rates have been determined by the Labor Commissioner of the State of Nevada andare set forth in the contract documents. In no case shall the wage rates be less than prescribed therein.In the event there is a difference between the minimum wage rates as predetermined by the Secretaryof Labor and the prevailing wages rates as determined by the State Labor Commissioner for similarclassifications of labor, the contractor or and his subcontractor shall not pay less than the wage ratewhich is the higher of the two. Additionally, if a classification that is being used does not appear in theDavis Bacon Wage decision, a Request for Classification will be required and will be forwarded to theU.S. Department of Labor for approval.The bidder must supply all information required by the bid documents and specifications and completeall forms included in the Proposal. Required forms may include, but are not limited to, the Suspensionand Debarment Certification and any applicable federal or state required certifications. All applicablelabor provisions and wage rate requirements are included in the specifications and bid documents.The Contractor must comply with the requirements of the Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act, 41USC 8301 note, and all applicable rules and notices, as may be amended, if applicable to the Grantee’sinfrastructure project.
