NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation (PATH) intends to establish a sole source contract with Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Inc. (MEPPI), located in Warrendale, PA, to provide the following: TITLE: PATH PA-5 RAILCAR DOOR HVAC System and Parts BRIEF DESCRIPTION: MEPPI is the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the PATH PA-5 railcar HVAC system and parts. including but not limited to, motors, compressors, and all items related to HVAC systems. All materials must be compatible with existing parts and systems. Firms who believe they can compete for this requirement are required to submit an email with a brief statement of their intent to compete. The statement and any other questions regarding this sole source should be directed to smocharski@panynj.gov by March 30, 2026. The Port Authority does not guarantee that firms responding to this notice will be rendered a request to tender an offer for this procurement. In addition, the Port Authority does not guarantee that any solicitation will occur for this procurement, but reserves the right to solicit proposals.
