Ditches & Retaining Walls: Furnish and install all ditches and retaining walls, including subgrade preparation, excavation, footings, formwork, reinforcing steel, concrete placement, finishing, curing, jointing, wall drainage, backfill, and compaction for cast-in-place concrete retaining walls (Detail C-7 / SC125) and concrete-lined ditches (Detail C-7 / SC119).
Excavation & Trenching: Perform all excavation, trenching, bedding, backfill, and compaction for civil and utility work in accordance with the Contract Documents and applicable regulations.
Piping & Utilities: Excavate, install, connect, test, and backfill all piping and appurtenances, including manholes and yard hydrants. Provide trench safety systems and conduct all required testing.
NPW: Lines 11, 18, 19, 19A, 19B, 19C, 19D, 19E (including all yard hydrants)
PW: Line 20
DR: Lines 17A, 17B, 17C, 17E, 17F, 17G (including MH-1 through MH-10)
Pavement: Form, reinforce, and pour all pavement, including subgrade preparation, compaction, base course, reinforcement, curbs, joints, finishing, layout, striping, markings, symbols, and surface treatments. Provide curing, protection, and QA/testing (slump, strength, thickness) as required for acceptance.
Site & Final Restoration: Restore all disturbed areas to match surrounding grades. At final restoration, remove all temporary roadway and trailer/parking flex base, regrade roadways to finished grades, remove the temporary construction entrance, remove and dispose of existing trailer and parking lot surfaces, and restore all affected areas with grass per Specification Section 32 92 00 – Turfs & Grasses (including sodding of the borrow area as required).
Permits & Inspections: Coordinate and obtain all required permits, certificates, and inspections in accordance with the Contract Documents and City of Pilot Point requirements.
Borrow Area: Utilize the Borrow Area for backfill or disposal of clean spoils, as permitted.
Schedule & Milestones:
PW, NPW & Drain Lines Complete: Backfilled and fully tested on or before November 1, 2027.
Operationally Ready: On or before December 2, 2027, per Specification 01 75 23.
Site Civil Complete: On or before March 23, 2028.
Failure to meet milestones or final completion will result in liquidated damages of $2,500 per day.
