SUNY Potsdam is seeking proposals for a High Quality Digital Full Dome System for our Planetarium. Any Vendor who believes they can provide these products, or an approved equivalent and is invited to provide a proposal to the contract officer prior to the due date. Awarded vendor will install new projection equipment system per specifications included. Note: Existing dome will remain in place. All electrical conduits are in place (under the floor to the center of the room). All hazardous material and demo will be performed prior to the installation. In compliance with the Procurement Lobbying Act signed into law by Governor Pataki in August, 2005, and effective January 1, 2006, permissible contact by an Offeror/bidder in relation to procurements which meet the criteria of this law should be made only with authorized personnel of SUNY Potsdam who are designated as the contact person(s). For this procurement, the primary contact is Michelle McCarthy, Director of Procurement. The restricted period for this procurement is defined as: April 15, 2026, until final contract approval by the Office of the State Comptroller. Failure to comply with this requirement can range from no contract to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. Successful contractor shall be required to complete and submit documents relating to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law 139, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a and valid/current NYS Workman’s Compensation and Disability Forms.
