    Description

    Purpose

    The City of Cleveland (City), Department of Public Utilities (DPU), Division of Water (CWD) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing professional services to design a new pump station and ground storage tank for the Pleasant Valley Pump Station and Reservoir site. This multidisciplinary project requires a team with expertise in providing structural, hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and civil site work improvements to Pleasant Valley Site to accommodate the proposed construction for the pump station and ground storage tank.

    This Request for Proposal (RFP) invites proposals from experienced engineering firms for design services as described by this document, including but not limited to preliminary design, detailed design, specialized technical assistance, field services, construction bidding and award support, and construction assistance. The project includes designing the pump station building, pumps and ground storage tank. A more detailed scope of work for the Pleasant Valley Pump Station and Ground Storage Tank is described in Section 4 of this document. CWD intends to award a single contract to an engineering services firm for the work defined in Section 4.
