The Project will be bid as one contract for 2026 Curb & Sidewalk Repairs and Improvements. The project entails removal of existing pavement, removal of existing concrete curb and sidewalk, installation of pavement, installation of concrete curb and sidewalk, installation of ADA curb ramps and ADA parking spaces, installation of snow melt system in concrete sidewalk, installation of pavement markings and signage, stormwater inlet top replacement and structure repairs, and work of similar nature.All Bidding documents are available online at no cost at http://pennbid.bonfirehub.com on January 26, 2026.Bid security in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid will be required in the form of certified check, cashier’s check, bank treasurer’s check, or satisfactory bid bond made payable to or naming as obligee Pocono Mountain School District, Monroe County. All bids will remain irrevocable for 60 days after the actual date of bid opening in compliance with Act 317 of 1978 approved November 26, 1978.Bidders are advised that they must comply with All State anti-kickback regulations pertaining to work associated with this project. You are required to submit an executed anti-collusion statement with the bid.The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442 – Session of 1961) shall apply to this project, as defined within the Project Manual, since this contract is estimated to cost more than $25,000.00.A Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract and each with satisfactory corporate surety, will be required to be furnished by the successful bidder at the time stated in the specifications.A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. in the library at the Pocono Mountain West Junior High School, 180 Panther Lane, Pocono Summit, PA 18346. Attendance is strongly advised.
