Interested vendors during the prequalification phase must demonstrate experience providing occupational medical services for safety-sensitive workforces and the operational capacity to support continuous, time-sensitive evaluations. Vendors must be properly licensed in Georgia and comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing regulations (49 CFR Part 40), and maintain laboratory certification through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), while adhering to recognized occupational health standards such as American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM) and, for AFRD, medical evaluations consistent with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1582.
