The City of Atlanta seeks qualified contractors for trace organic laboratory testing services to support NPDES permit compliance and industrial pretreatment programs through a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process starting with prequalification and followed by an IFB.
The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Watershed Management (DWM), will shortly undergo a Multi- Step Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB) toward the procurement of qualified contractors to provide trace organic laboratory testing services to support compliance with National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits and industrial pretreatment program requirements. Interested vendors during the prequalification phase will be evaluated on their demonstrated experience providing laboratory analytical services for wastewater, industrial pretreatment, and environmental compliance programs, including trace organic analysis, priority pollutant testing, whole effluent toxicity (WET) testing, quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) procedures, sample handling, reporting, and regulatory compliance services within municipal or environmental laboratory environments. Evaluation will also consider each vendor¿s ability to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) program requirements, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, Georgia Environmental Protection Division (GA EPD) requirements, and analytical methods established under 40 CFR Part 136. The City¿s expectation is that the selected vendor will deliver timely, accurate, and compliant laboratory analysis and reporting services that support regulatory compliance, ensure data integrity, maintain required turnaround times, and enhance operational reliability for DWM¿s wastewater treatment and pretreatment monitoring programs. A Pre-Solicitation Conference will be noticed and held to provide more details and address questions. Hope to see you there.
