Responses to the RFQ must be addressed to Director of Public Works Garrett Houston and received at the City Hall, 501 North Madison, Mount Pleasant, Texas, 75455, by July 30, 2026, by 2:00 p.m. for consideration. A complete set of the response must be received no later than this date and time, indicating that its contents are in response to the “City of Mount Pleasant – Statement of Qualifications for – Professional Transportation Engineering Services.”

The City will provide additional information concerning this project as requested by the interested firms through written RFQ Addendum.
The selected Respondent shall be required to execute the City's standard Professional Engineering Services Agreement, subject to mutually acceptable revisions approved by the City. If the City and the selected Respondent are unable to negotiate a fair and reasonable agreement, the City may terminate negotiations and commence negotiations with the next most highly qualified Respondent pursuant to Texas Government Code Chapter 2254.
