To schedule hand delivery of the bid, please contact the Project Management Unit at DSH-NapaPMU@dsh.ca.gov  and cc Ashley.Davis2@dsh.ca.gov Scope of Work: Contractor shall provide all necessary materials, supplies, tools, equipment, transportation, licenses, permits, prevailing wages, insurance, bonds, and personnel to provide the DSH Napa with modifications to its medication rooms and other specified locations. Work includes installation of new anchor plates, plumbing fixtures, casework and fixture removal, patch and paint, electrical outlet and data jack extensions, fire-stopping at penetrations in fire rated construction, and other incidentals as required for the installation of the medication dispensing unit equipment as specified in the Medication Dispensing Unit Installation project as shown in the JCCA 23790-8 DSH-N Medication Dispensing Unit Installation drawings and specifications. Installation of the Medication Dispensing Units will be completed by separate vendor after completion of construction modifications. The bids shall include all Work pursuant to the Drawings and Project Manual, and Addenda as may be issued prior to bid opening date. License: Contractors' State License Classification required to bid Project is B-General Building Contractor. BIDDERS CONFERENCE: Attendance requirements (mandatory for prime bidders): All prime bidders must attend the conference to have their bids considered responsive and responsible. Bidders who wish to attend the conference must notify the Project Management Unit via e-mail at DSH-NapaPMU@dsh.ca.gov and CC: Contract Analyst via email at Ashley.Davis2@dsh.ca.gov by the date and time indicated within the Key Action Dates table. This email notification must include the first and last name of the proposed attendee, driver¿s license number and date of birth, for security clearance purposes. Late submissions will not be accepted. Drawings and Project Manual: Bid forms, plans, specifications, addenda, and, Bid Package will be available for download at http://www.caleprocure.ca.gov. Click on ¿Start Search¿. In the Event Name field, enter the project number and click ¿Search¿. While viewing the Event Details, click on ¿View Event Package¿ to view bid forms. It is recommended that all vendors register as a bidder through the Cal eProcure website at https://www.caleprocure.ca.gov/pages/bidder-vendor.aspx. This will allow for automatic notifications if there is any modification to the Event such as the posting of an addendum or additional documentation. Drawings and Project Manual may also be viewed through the North Coast Builders Exchange. Public Bid Opening: A public bid opening will be held on the following day (see Key Action Dates table) of the bid due date at Department of State Hospitals Napa, 2100 Napa Vallejo HWY, Napa, CA 94558. Bidders may attend in person. Bidders attending the bid opening in-person will need to meet and sign in (mandatory) at the Plant Operations Building at the mailing address above. At the public bid opening, all bids received before the date and time indicated within the Key Action Dates table will be opened and recorded onto a Preliminary Bid Tabulation. Bidders do not need to attend the bid opening as the Preliminary Bid Tabulation shall be available immediately for public inspection after the bid opening is completed.
