PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CONTRACT NEGOITATIONS FOR INTERNAL AUDIT SERVICE RFP-26-042

Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) and the Selection Committee sincerely appreciates the time, care, and effort employed by all respondents to the subject solicitation in the production of their proposals. 

FSDB has completed the selection process for professional services for the above-named project. It has been our objective to select the most qualified firm to perform this service. The results of the Committee decision rank the firms interviewed as follows:

1. Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC with a score of 50.
2. UHY Advisors with a score of 41.

FSDB will now enter into contract discussions and negotiations with Carr, Riggs & Ingram, LLC. It is noted that if the agency is unable to negotiate a satisfactory contract with the most qualified firm at a price that the agency determines to be fair, competitive, and reasonable, negotiations with that firm will be terminated and the agency will undertake negotiations with the second most qualified firm. This procedure will be followed until an agreement is reached.

If you would like to review the bid tabulation details, they will be available in the project’s Drobox folder accessible from the FSDB website and will be posted in accordance with the time frame stipulated by Florida Statute or the Solicitation Document.
