A pre-bid walk-through will be held beginning at 10:00 AM, Friday March 20, 2026 at the project site at 935 Maidu Avenue, Nevada City, CA 95959 (near Garden location by the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility) The County will conduct the Pre-Bid meeting in person only. Bids will be accepted from bidders who did not attend the pre-bid conference, but bidders will be charged with all of the information disseminated at the pre-bid conference as if they had been present. For all bids over $25,000, each bidder must submit a cashier's check, certified check or a bidder's bond in an amount equal to 10% of the total amount of the bid. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials bond guaranteeing faithful performance and payment of all debts related to this contract. This is a public works project, subject to the prevailing wage requirements of the California Labor Code.
