Liquidated Damages will be enforced at $200 per day the painting is not complete. Summit County Public Works will, from time to time take samples of the materials supplied to be tested for compliance with the standards. Summit County reserves the right to implement the price adjustment provisions of the Specification if the materials supplied do not meet the acceptance criteria of the specification. Materials Bid items which are weighed will be evaluated and awarded based on the lowest price per ton submitted by the bidders, and a transportation cost to and from the bidder’s plant as determined by Summit County Public Works Director. Summit County may select more than one material supplier of weighed bid items in order to more economically complete various projects based on their locations. The Summit County Manager shall determine the award based on the best interest of Summit County. Bids must be sealed in an envelope addressed to the Public Works Supervisor and labeled “Bid for Maintenance Materials and Services 2026”. Bids submitted by mail shall be placed in a second envelope addressed to the Public Works Deputy Director, 1755 South Hoytsville Road, Wanship, Utah 84017. 1 Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at the office of the Summit County Public Works, 1755 South Hoytsville Road, Wanship, Utah 84017 and at that time publicly opened and read aloud. Summit County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any formality which is in the best interest of Summit County.
