All new abutment construction will be supported on steel HP piling. -There is 0.37 miles of upgrading for the US 301 Southbound approach roadways, which includes resurfacing of US 301 Southbound, placement of new traffic barriers, stormwater management facilities, signing, and permanent pavement striping. -One lane of existing traffic in each direction on US 301 Southbound will be maintained at all times utilizing staged construction.
