Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) and the Selection Committee sincerely appreciates the time, care, and effort employed by all respondents to the subject solicitation in the production of their proposals. After careful consideration of all submittals the FSDB Selection Committee has determined that W.W. GAY MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR, INC. has met all the qualifications for the bid submission for evaluation and has therefore been selected for a contract award.

Protests and Disputes: Questions submitted to FSDB shall not constitute formal protest. A notice of protest must be submitted to the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind in writing within 72 hours of the Notification of Intent to Award. A formal written protest must be submitted within ten (10) days after the date the notice of protest is filed. The formal written protest must fully identify facts resulting in the contested issues. The protest procedure shall be governed by Florida Statutes §120.57(3) and may require the payment of a Protest Bond IAW §28-110-005, F.S. Any person who is adversely affected by the Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind’s decision concerning a procurement solicitation or contract award and who wants to protest such decision shall file a protest in compliance with §120.57(3), FS. Failure to file a protest within the time prescribed in Section 120.57(3), F.S., or failure to post the bond or other security required by law within the time allowed for filing a bond shall constitute a waiver of proceedings under Chapter 120, F.S.
