    Description

The County of Los Angeles (County) Department of Treasurer and Tax Collector (TTC), Public Administrator Branch (PA) is issuing this Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) for the provision of Real Property Insurance Services. The TTC intends to establish a Master List (List) of qualified insurance brokers of property-casualty insurance products to provide liability, casualty, fire, and related insurance coverages for real properties and/or contents of real properties managed by the PA. The PA will initiate a request for insurance coverage via an email to each Contractor on the List to provide the proposed coverage at an estimated real property value by a set deadline. Upon the PA’s receipt of the proposed coverage bids, the PA will select a Contractor from the submitted policy proposals, no later than two business days after the deadline. The List will have an initial term of five years unless sooner terminated or extended in whole or in part by the option of the County. You may download the RFSQ from the Internet by accessing the County’s website at http://camisvr.co.la.ca.us/lacobids, selecting “View Open Bids,” selecting “List by Department,” selecting “Treasurer and Tax Collector,” from the drop-down list and then click on “Select Department.” You may also download the RFSQ by accessing the TTC’s website at http://ttc.lacounty.gov, selecting the “TTC Contract Opportunities” link from the menu on the left, and selecting “Request for Statement of Qualifications Real Property Insurance Services.” Potential Vendors are responsible for downloading and reviewing the entire RFSQ. The RFSQ contains the service requirements, Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) content and format requirements, a description of the SOQ selection process, and a sample Master Agreement for the TTC. Vendors that meet the minimum qualifications identified in Paragraph 1.4, Vendor’s Minimum Qualifications, of the RFSQ may submit an SOQ to provide the services described further in Appendix I, Statement of Work of the RFSQ. Potential Vendors should carefully review the RFSQ and ensure their SOQ complies with all RFSQ requirements. Vendors must prepare the SOQs in accordance with Paragraph 2.0, Instructions to Vendors, of the RFSQ. Vendors understand and agree that submission of a SOQ constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of, and a willingness to comply with, all terms and conditions of this RFSQ and any addenda including, but not limited to, Appendix H, Master Agreement. The terms and conditions of the Appendix H, Sample Master Agreement, of the RFSQ are not negotiable. SOQs are due by 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, on March 1, 2018, and shall be delivered or mailed to the County of Los Angeles, Department of Treasurer and Tax Collector, Contracts Section, 500 West Temple Street, Room 437, Los Angeles, California 90012. The TTC will review each subsequent SOQ submitted after the initial deadline and enter into Master Agreements with each Vendor that meets all requirements of this RFSQ on a flow basis until there are ten Contractors on the List. The TTC may close this solicitation at any time at its sole discretion. More
