This includes the expertise of a fire protection engineer capable of providing technical review of fire-related items, ensuring they can effectively evaluate and support SMUD’s management of potential legal issues. To the extent that the Contractor lacks specific expertise in any of the disciplines needed by the ESR&D and Power Generation Departments, a professional group of subcontractors or associate firms may be assembled to complement the Contractor’s technical, environmental, and legal expertise.
