The facility: Produces renewable natural gas (rNG) from anaerobic digestion of wastewater sludge Has an estimated production capacity of approximately 12 MMBtu/hr Supplies rNG for use as vehicle fuel by a local bus fleet Injects rNG into the natural gas distribution system operated by Washington Gas The produced fuel is expected to generate D3 (Cellulosic) RINs under EPA-approved pathways.
