    Request for Bids Dumont Cemetery Fence Repair & Construction Dumont, Colorado Clear Creek County invites qualified firms to be considered for General Contractor services to construct wildlife-friendly barbed/smooth wire fence and repair of existing wire fence at the Clear Creek County Dumont Cemetery located in Dumont, Colorado. The Scope of Work includes construction of: ? Tighten and make repairs to the wire fencing along the northeastern property boundary from point 3 to point 4 (approx. 255.54-ft.); ? Tighten and make repairs to the wire fencing along the eastern property boundary from point 4 to point 5 (approx. 532-ft.); ? Tighten and make repairs to the wire fencing from point 5 to point 6, along the lower eastern boundary (approx. 82-ft.); ? Install wire fencing along the northern property boundary from point 2 to point 3 - (approx. 430.77-ft.); ? Tighten approximately 300-ft. of wire fencing from point 6 to the west, and then install new wire fencing to point 1, approximately 576-ft.; ? Installation of new wire fence along the boundary lines of the property to meet standards below: o Smooth wire or rounded rail for the top, smooth wire on the bottom; o Height of top rail or wire should be 42” or less; o At least 12” between the top two wires; o At least 16” between the bottom wire or rail and the ground; o Posts at minimum 16’ intervals; o Using a rail, high-visibility wire, flagging or other visual markers for the top. Work is expected to commence on or about September 28 and be complete within 30 days. A property survey will be available electronically only via the Clear Creek County website at http://www.co.clear-creek.co.us/bids.aspx beginning September 11, 2015. If your qualified firm would like to be considered for this Project, please submit three (3) copies of your bid, in the form specified in the bid documents, to Donna Gee, Assistant to the County Administrator, 405 Argentine Street/P.O. Box 2000, Georgetown, CO 80444 by 3:00 pm Thursday September 24, 2015. Please note that contractor selection will be based on overall responsiveness, which includes demonstrated understanding of the project, ability to execute the work, as well as price.
