    Description

This is not an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposals (RFP). The City University of New York (“University”) is issuing this“Request for Information” (“RFI”) to learn more about the market for acquiring a scalable, secure, and accessible platform that supports consistent, high-quality admissions engagement while accommodating local campus workflows. It is anticipated, but not guaranteed, that the University will use the information received from this RFI to develop a future procurement for this commodity. The attached RFI document provides an outline of the desired functionalities for this platform. In particular, the College is interested in products that: (a) integrate with existing CRMs and enterprise systems rather than replace them; (b) support role-specific experiences for admissions staff, counselors, administrators, and students; and (c) enabling central governance, reporting, and oversight. Respondents are requested to respond to all questions in each of the sections included in this RFI. A response does not bind or obligate the responder or CUNY to any agreement for the provision of the platform referenced. No contracts will be awarded based on RFI submissions. Responding or not responding to this RFI does not preclude an interested party from participating on any future solicitations. Additionally, participating in a product demonstration will have no bearing on eligibility for a future solicitation. Please submit the RFI response and any questions regarding same via email to Adam.Schwartz@cuny.edu. All questions regarding the content of this RFI are to be submitted via e-mail, and are requested by no later than Tuesday, January 27, at 4 PM. RFI responses will be due no later than Thursday February 19, 2026 at 4 PM, Eastern Standard Time, unless further extended by the University.
