    Description

    Requesting qualified proposals for the replacement of commercial HVAC condensing units serving both the Main Hall and the North Side building of the Mount Pleasant Civic Center. The scope of work includes full removal of existing equipment, installation of new condensing units, all required mechanical and electrical reconnections, system startup and commissioning to ensure proper operation, and provision of warranty coverage and post-installation support.

    Background

    The Contractor shall provide a complete turnkey installation for replacement of the existing HVAC condensing units. Work includes removal and proper disposal of all existing units and associated components, furnishing and installing new condensing equipment, and replacement or approved flushing of existing refrigerant lines as required to meet manufacturer standards.

    The Contractor shall complete all mechanical and electrical reconnections to integrate the new units with existing systems, followed by full system startup and commissioning to verify performance, controls, and efficiency. Scope also includes coordination with all trades as needed, system balancing where applicable, and onsite training for the Owner’s staff covering operation, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.

    All work shall be delivered fully operational, code-compliant, and supported by manufacturer warranties and Contractor warranty coverage.
