The Project also includes the construction of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)–compliant curb ramps on both sides of the roadway to improve accessibility and ensure compliance with current ADA standards. These improvements represent proven, systemic safety countermeasures identified in the Caltrans LRSP for pedestrian and bicycle safety at uncontrolled crossings.
