    Bid Posting Date: August 6, 2019 Project: Request for Proposals - Valdez Convention and Civic Center Catering Proposals Due: Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 PM local time on August 28, 2019 Informational Session: There will be an informational session on Tuesday, August 11, 2019, at 5:00 PM at the Valdez Convention and Civic Center This proposal includes, but is not necessarily limited to: The purpose of this document is to solicit proposals for a licensed alcohol provider (“Caterer”) to supply alcohol at a no-host beer and wine bar for ten (10) events (“Alcohol Catering Services”) located at the Valdez Convention and Civic Center. Proposals will be accepted until 5:00 PM local time on August 28, 2019, at the office of the Valdez Convention & Civic Center, 314 Clifton Drive, PO Box 307, Valdez, Alaska 99686. Proposals will be accepted via email, mail, or in person. There will be an informational session at 5:00 PM local time on August 11, 2019 at the Valdez Convention and Civic Center. The City’s contact is Jennifer James: Bid documents may also be downloaded from the links below. The City reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in a quote, to reject any and all quotes without cause, and to re-solicit for quotes. Current minimum prevailing wage rates as published by the Alaska Department of Labor must be paid if required by law. Requirements of the Alaska Employment Preference (AS 36.10) must be met. The City of Valdez “Standard Specifications and Standard Details” shall be used.
