LEGAL NOTICE Town of Wawarsing 108 Canal Street Ellenville, NY 12428 REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS - ENGINEERING SERVICES DELAWARE & HUDSON CANAL/ONTARIO & WESTERN RAILROAD TRAIL: FOORDMORE RD TO ROUTE 44/55 PIN 875925 The Town of Wawarsing is requesting Qualifications for Professional Engineering Services to provide preliminary design relating to the Delaware & Hudson Canal/Ontario & Western Railroad Trail: Foordmore Rd to Route 44/55 PIN 875925. Preliminary Design will include but is not limited to: preparation of the Design Report (identifying, assessing and selecting a feasible alternative and its associated impacts), survey and mapping, property deed research, evaluation of cost and environmental factors and public informational meetings. Final Design will include highway design, preparation of right-of-way plans and acquisition maps and preparation and submission of final plans, specifications and estimate (PS&E) and contract documents. Right of Way work will include completion of Table of Right-of-Way Acquisitions" and "ROW Project Estimate" title searches, property appraisal and appraisal review, negotiation with property owners and property acquisition. Minority and women business enterprises (MBE and WBE) are encouraged to repsond. Responses to this request will be accepted until 11:00 am, June 11, 2026 at the Office of the Town Clerk, 108 Canal Street, Ellenville, NY 12428. Interested parties should submit five (5) copies of their proposal in an envelope marked "Respond to Engineering Services Request for Qualifications".
