    1. GENERAL: a) This specification describes the minimum material quality and application of reflectorized traffic marking paint (long lines, symbols, letters, gore stripes, etc.) at the locations and in accordance with patterns indicated by the Owner. Work shall be completed in conformance with the applicable requirements of NYSDOT Section 640 and these specifications. b) Work may include, but not limited to, the marking of crosswalks, railroad crossing lines and symbols, parking lot stalls, bicycle symbols, traffic gores, stop bars, yield lines, road centerline and edge lines. c) Work may include the application of pavement markings in parking garages and lots, highways, medians and removal of pavement markings where specified in this document or as may be required by respective municipalities.
