The City of Waco, Infrastructure Services Department, Treatment and Compliance Division, is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to gather market information and validate requirements for an enterprise software solution to manage utility compliance, water quality, and program data across Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, the Environmental Laboratory, Industrial Pretreatment, FOG, Stormwater, and Backflow. This RFI is not a request for proposals and is not a commitment to purchase, contract, or award. The Division may use information received to refine requirements, develop a future solicitation, and inform budgeting and implementation planning. The Division seeks a modern, configurable solution focused on water and wastewater operational and compliance data management, trending, dashboards, and automated regulatory reporting. The Division is also evaluating whether the same solution, or a single vendor provided integrated suite, can support Stormwater, Industrial Pretreatment, and FOG program data management. Strong analytics, including native Microsoft Power BI integration or a well-supported Power BI data delivery model, is a primary objective.***Questions are not being accepted for this project.
SLED stands for State, Local, and Education. These are solicitations issued by state governments, counties, cities, school districts, utilities, and higher education institutions — as opposed to federal agencies.
