    The District is issuing this RFP for the purpose of selecting a qualified, AMI vendor neutral, Consultant to perform an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) feasibility and business case study. The scope of the study and the proposal requirements are provided under the documents section of ProcureWare. Note: The Consultant will be required to sign an NDA prior to receiving the information in APPENDIX F. The NDA form is also available for download under the documents tab of this bid. Milestone Timeframe: RFP Issuance: April 28, 2026 Deadline for Clarification Questions: May 8, 2026, 4 PM, CDT M.U.D. Distributes Responses for Consultant Clarification Questions: May 14, 2026 4PM, CDT Consultant Proposals and Pricing Due: May 19, 2026, 3 PM, CDT Consultant Interviews: June 8, 2026-June 12, 2026 Consultant Selection and Notifications: Anticipated no later than July 1, 2026 Contract Effective Date: July 10, 2026 Preliminary Budget Estimate: August 31,2026 Final Report and Presentation Materials: November 30, 2026 Any questions regarding the meaning or interpretation of any RFP provision are due no later than 4:00 p.m., CDT, on May 8, 2026, and must be sent to Sherri Lightfoot, Director of Purchasing, via e-mail at sherri_lightfoot@mudnebr.com.
