The services to be provided under this contract will include an audit of the financial statements of the governmental activities, the business-type activities, the aggregate discretely presented component unit, each major fund, and the aggregate remaining fund information, including the disclosures, which collectively comprise the basic financial statements of the City. Also included in the contract is reporting on supplementary information other than RSI that accompanies the City’s financial statements. The audit shall be conducted in accordance with Government Audit Standards and requirements prescribed by the Comptroller of the Treasury, State of Tennessee, and applicable state and federal regulations. If applicable, an audit shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Single Audit Act and US Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133 and any other applicable federal management circulars. It is incumbent on the firm to be knowledgeable of all laws, regulations, and standards applicable to Tennessee municipal governments.
