    Description

    It is the intent of these specifications, terms, and conditions to describe parking garage cleaning services being requested by the County.

    The County intends to award a three-year contract (with the option to renew for two years) to the Bidder selected as the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder whose response meets the County’s requirements.

    These specifications, terms, and conditions are to procure the most environmentally preferable products with equivalent or higher performance and at an equal or lower cost than traditional products.  Specific requirements from the County’s Sustainability Program related to this RFQ are included in the appropriate sections.

    Background

    The Alameda County General Services Agency (GSA) Parking Division manages parking facilities that serve the County of Alameda employees and the public. To support the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of these facilities, GSA Parking is seeking a qualified professional cleaning service provider to deliver routine cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep services. The selected contractor will be responsible for maintaining four County-owned and operated public parking garages. These services are critical to ensure that the facilities remain safe, sanitary, and well-maintained for all users. All work shall be performed at the designated four public parking garage locations under the jurisdiction of the County of Alameda.
