    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undersigned, on behalf of the Town of Schroon, will accept Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) until Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM for Engineering Consultant Services associated with the Rogers Brook Sewer Main Improvement Project. PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that the Town of Schroon, in connection with any contract entered into pursuant to this Notice, will not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, religion, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or veteran status. Minority- and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) are strongly encouraged to participate. The Town of Schroon is an equal opportunity employer. This project is funded in part through the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC) Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program and the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC). All applicable federal and state requirements shall apply. The selected consultant shall comply with all applicable NYSEFC, EPA, NBRC, NYSDEC, NYSDOT, and other federal, state, and local requirements, including but not limited to: • Federal qualifications-based procurement requirements for architectural and engineering services • MWBE/SDVOB participation requirements • Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements, where applicable • Build America, Buy America (BABA) requirements • American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements, where applicable • 2 CFR Part 200 Uniform Administrative Requirements The project consists generally of advancing the Rogers Brook Sewer Main Improvement Project from completed preliminary engineering through final design, permitting, bidding, construction administration, inspection, and project closeout services. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all submissions, waive informalities or technical defects, request clarification from respondents, negotiate scope and fees with the selected consultant, and award in the best interest of the Town.
