The Modoc County Road Department Road Commissioner will accept Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide On –Call Road Engineering Services. State and Federal highway funding requires that projects comply with Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures, Caltrans Standards and Federal, State, and local regulations and adhere to all laws and regulations pertaining there to. The term of the contract will be for three (3) years. Qualified firms shall be appropriately licensed in California, in good standing, and have experience in road engineering. The proposals submitted in response to this RFQ will be used as a basis for selecting the Consultant for this project. The Consultant’s proposal will be evaluated and ranked according to the criteria provided in Appendix B, “Evaluation Criteria,” of this RFQ. Addenda to this RFQ, if issued, will be sent to all prospective Consultants that obtained the RFQ via http://www.publicpurchase.com/. It is the Consultant’s responsibility to check this website for RFQ updates and subsequent addenda. Submit three (3) hard copies and one (1) electronic copy in PDF format on a CD/DVD or flash drive of the Consultant’s proposal. However, the County will allow an electronic submission of the proposal via email to satisfy the submission deadline with the fee envelope and hard copies being mailed and postmarked prior to 2:00 p.m., May 7, 2026.
