    Description

    Introduction The Town of Nederland (“Town”), in coordination with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and inspection services for the Nederland Crosswalk and Street Improvements Project (“Project”). This is a CDOT Local Agency federally funded project and will be administered in accordance with CDOT Local Agency Manual requirements. All submittals shall be made through the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System (BidNet). Project Description and Scope of Work: The project is located within the Town of Nederland, Boulder County, Colorado, primarily along: Highway 72 (2nd Street), Jackson Street, Jefferson Street, and 1st Street. The Project consists of construction of new ADA-compliant sidewalks, installation of crosswalks at multiple intersections, new sidewalk segments and accessibility upgrades, and pavement improvements where required. Work occurs within existing CDOT right-of-way.
