    Description

    The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit formal written Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from experienced and qualified individuals, corporations, partnerships and other legal entities (RESPONDENTS) to provide a wide range of Consulting Engineering Services in support of the Continued Operations and Maintenance of the Biosolids Processing Facility for the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County (AUTHORITY). The evaluation process shall be in accordance with Florida Statute 287.055, Consultants Competitive Negotiations Act.It is the AUTHORITY’s intent to contract with the top ranked firm as established by the Evaluation Committee subject to the approval of the AUTHORITY’s Governing Board. The AUTHORITY does not guarantee any minimum amount of work.The Agreement shall be for a term of three (3) years with the option of an additional three (3) year renewal subject to review and approval of the Governing Board of the Solid Waste Authority at the sole and unfettered discretion of the AUTHORITY.The AUTHORITY requires RESPONDENTS to commit to Three Percent (3%) SBE Subcontractor participation to meet the Affirmative Procurement Initiative applied to this procurement.
