Background

The Town of Mooresville is seeking professional design service qualifications for the Westside Pickleball Project. The site is located at 170 Joe Knox Ave Mooresville, NC 28117 on a portion of the Lowe’s YMCA property adjacent to Josh’s Farmers Market. The Town of Mooresville in partnership with the Lowe’s YMCA would like to construct up to twelve (12) outdoor pickleball courts on the property adjacent to the Lowe’s YMCA. It is 
anticipated that the project scope would include design of the pickleball courts with fencing, a turf sport court for various activities, storm water management, required landscaping and access walkways from the street, parking and adjacent properties. It is also anticipated that the pickleball courts would utilize shared restroom facilities located in the adjacent YMCA or Josh’s Farmers Market properties through a mutual operating agreement.
